Minimal Perfection episode #7 is up.
Mac McMahill guest stared. It went pretty well if I do say so myself.
Lots of fun. Good times.
Probably more funny than one of our typical podcasts, depending on your sense of humor.
I had to edit it a LOT in order to get it to be “clean.”

We’re still looking for someone to do show notes… because we’re lazy.

TubeSock

Found some really awesome software today called TubeSock.
It’ll take either a URL or a YouTube ID as input, download the movie on that page, and convert it for use with your iPod video.
The developer is really cool, and is working on adding support for additional services (ie Google Video), so if you need some software that can do this, check it out. It’s $15 to register, but there is a trial version that’ll do up to 30 seconds of videos.
There are both Windows and Mac versions.

Yes I realize it seems it’s been ages since we’ve released a podcast, but I promise we will do at least one this week.
We may even do up to 3.
Mac has agreed to to an episode on video production / post production with us, so at the least that one should be interesting.

US Politics…

So we’ve got someone working on the woman vote, the black vote, … who’s gay and wants to be president? Better announce now! Can be anyone as long as you’re gay and are willing to run for president on those grounds.
Then people can ask is the US ready for a gay president?

How about a black gay woman? You’d be immediately elected, we don’t even have to wait until November! Oh and Oprah wants you on her show.
If a black gay woman ran and wasn’t elected she could probably sue the entire United States for discrimination! And I bet she’d win!

Awesome Opportunity

Wow, so this goes under a lot of categories.
This summer my school is going to be looking for a network engineering intern.
They want to add their mini-Mac lab to their Novell network.
So I’m really excited. I’d love to be able to do that and work at Hurricane.
