I was reinstalling part of Adobe’s Creative Suite 3 (Web Premium) last night, and after it had reinstalled the shared components it asked me to “Please Insert Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit 2 to Continue Installation.” There isn’t any CD labeled anything like that with CS3.
I found the fix here: elaine montoya » Blog Archive » Workaround: Please Insert Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit 2 to Continue Installation.
Basically all you have to do is download the ExtendScript Toolkit ( here ) and mount it [double click]. Then you can click OK on CS3 setup’s prompt and installation should continue as normal. After you’re done installing, you can unmount [click eject] and delete the DMG for ExtendScript.
This only applies to Mac OS X installations. If you run up against this error on Windows, please contact me and I’ll help you find the solution.

Thanks!
I had to restart the CS3 install with the “kit” mounted, but then it worked well.
